Five Things You Need to Know: June 21

Hot today with a governmental business seminar, another Taste of Legacy Place, Zumba and Keys for Hope continues.

 

 

Today's Weather: Hot. Highs of 99 with a slight chance of thunderstorms later at night as things cool off to 70 according to the National Weather Service.

1. Those interested in the inner-workings of Town government and its relation to local business will want to swing by the Endicott Estate on 656 East St. today at 5:30 p.m. for Legislative Reception and Business After Hours where officials from the area will meet and discuss local business opportunities.

2. Another chance to dine under the stars with a Taste of Legacy Place at 6:30 p.m. on 950 Providence Highway. Proceeds go to the Italian Home for Children.

3. A new form of exercise is sweeping through Town. Zumba Toning Class takes place at 7:15 p.m. on 671 High Street. Email drebc04@­gmail.­com for more information and to sign-up.

4. Keys for Hope continues to take donations of spare keys at the Town Hall in order to fight poverty in Town.

5. Today in History: Back in 1982, John Hinckley was found not guilt by reason of insanity for the attempted assassination of former President Ronald Reagan.
