Five Things You Need to Know: June 12

A meeting on divorce, trivia, Keys for Hope continues and a look at a ducky event this weekend.

 

 

Today's Weather: It's going to be a foggy day, with highs of 73. There's a 50 percent chance of showers at night as temps drop to 60 according to the National Weather Service.

1. The Met Bar & Grill is hosting a special family-oriented seminar. The Changing Family After Seperation is a meeting devoted to the constructs that develop within the family after divorce and how to best some of the more difficult aspects of a family divided. It's at 6:45 p.m. on 950 Providence Highway.

2. For the trivia nuts out there. Stump Trivia at T.G.I. Friday's will be sweeping through again this week at 9 p.m. on 750 Providence Highway.

3. Keys for Hope Dedham's Town-wide fund raiser to benefit the poor and needy throughout town will continue today. Drop off your used keys at the Town Hall.

4. Looking forward to the weekend, one big event going on will be the 10th Annual Duck Race on the Charles. A great Dedham event that is fun for the whole family. Games, prizes, food and plenty of quacks.

5. Today in History: It was today in 1942 that Anne Frank had her birthday and recieved the diary that would be filled with her sentiments while hiding from the Nazis.
