Each year the DJWC award three scholarships to help with continuing education.

• The Tory J. Civian Volunteer Award for $1,500.
• The DJWC Student Volunteer Award for $1,000 will be presented to two high school seniors from Dedham. 
• The Karen E. Baker Volunteer Awards for $1,000 will be presented to a woman from Dedham returning to school.

The awards are based on volunteerism, academics, extra-curricular activities and need.  Applications for the Volunteer Awards are now available on the DJWC website (www.djwc.org) or by contacting Priscilla Karlgren at 781-355-2190.  

Applications are due on Apr. 14, 2013.
