Dedham Junior Woman's Club Craft Show is Back
The Craft Show is the club's largest fundraiser.
The Dedham Junior Woman's Club Craft Show Committee will be meeting again to put the finishing touches on the 31st Annual Craft Show that will be held Saturday, November 17th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Dedham Middle School.
This year the Craft Show will be expanding in size, using more space at the Dedham Middle School. The Craft Show has come along way since its beginning in 1981 with a very small show at the Dedham Mall.
As the Craft Show grew, the venue was moved to Dedham High School. Shortly after the opening of the new middle school, the Craft Show found its new home.
This year the Craft Show will feature 90 crafters, some familiar and some new.
"Brick Pond Pottery", who specializes in reproduction Dedham Pottery pieces will return; as well as "Our Favorites" with their gourmet salad dressings and barbecue sauce; "Warm and Fuzzy" offering their therapeutic popcorn kernel filled heating pads and hand warmers; "Cheyleen's Naturals" with bee's wax candles, soaps and lip balm. New crafters include "Positive Energy" with wire wrap jewelry; "City Garden Soap" with a variety of scented soaps; "SuCyn Designs" featuring woman's vest, scarves, hats and other accessories.
Luncheon will be served in the cafeteria with a delicious menu to pick from. Shoppers can also take a chance at the Crafters' Raffle Table to win an item from their favorite crafters. Admission to the craft show is $3.00 per person/children under 12 free.
All proceeds from the Craft Show benefit local charities and organizations as well as fund the two scholarships that the Dedham Junior Woman's Club give out each year to a graduating senior, and a woman returning to college.
