The Avery School gymnasium encompassed the world today.  Students in all grades were able to view and walk inside a 20' inflatable globe.

Once inside they were able to view mountains, rivers, deserts, rain forests, islands and oceans without the clouds through a series of satellite photos taken high above our earth.

This assembly brings to life the science and geography being taught in the classrooms.

The globe, brought to the Avery School by Earth Adventure, a non-profit organization in Minnesota, was made possible through the Avery PTO.

This was also brought to Riverdale last Thursday and the kids are still talking about it. I want to thank the Arts and Enrichment Coordinators that made this happen for both Riverdale and Avery.
