The Avery Student Council ran a food drive for the Dedham Food Pantry in celebration of the 100th Day of School. They were able to collect 365 items of food for the pantry.
Here are the totals for each grade:
Grade 1: 64 boxes of cereal,
Grade 2: 70 cans of vegetables,
Grade 3: 29 cans of fruit,
Grade 4: 70 cans of baby food,
Grade 5: 132 juice boxes.
