1. The National Weather Service forecasts a sunny day with highs near 80 degrees.
2. The Parks and Recreation Department's Mayor of Dedham campaign will see another milestone today. Candidate Mary Hathaway's campaign kick-off event will take place at Moseley's on the Charles at 6 p.m. with raffles and a DJ. More information here. $10.
3. Hathaway's opponent, Tracey White, will host her next event Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Village Manor. The "White Party" will require people to wear the brightest, whitest clothing they can find; non-conformers will be fined $1. The event will feature music and raffles. $10 suggested donation.
4. Bluemercury is holding a summer preview event - with demonstrations and discounts - tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A portion of sale from the event will go to benefit the Dedham Community House.
