5 Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 3

  1. Today will be sunny, with a high near 37 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

  2. Looking ahead to the weekend, it'll be much of the same on Saturday and Sunday with temperatures reaching a high of 38 over the weekend, according to NWS.

  3. If you are in search for a box of Girl Scout cookies, there will be a few spots around town selling your favorites. Check out CVS on Bussey Street on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and at Star Market Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  4. The skating night scheduled for Saturday has been postponed. The Dedham Parks and Recreation event, sponsored by Needham Bank, was supposed to host families at Memorial Parkand Condon Park.
