1. Today will be sunny but quite chilly with temperatures reaching a high of 36 degrees, according the National Weather Service.


2. Toys R Us will open for 24 hours from this morning until 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve for those of us (myself included) that wait until the moment to buy gifts.


3. The Department of Public Works will close down Highland Street between Lowder and Martin Bates streets beginning tomorrow at 7 a.m. for approximately 18 hours for maintenance to the town's sewer system.
