  3. The deadline to file your 2011 federal tax return is tomorrow. The deadline for state tax returns is tomorrow due to the holiday.

  4. We will have results of how Dedhamites fared in today's Boston Marathon later this afternoon.

  5. There are several Dedham TV Turn Off events going on today as the kids are on spring vacation - including making smoothies at Whole Foods, grabbing a picnic lunch at Paradise Cafe and reading at the Blue Bunny.

#3 is incorrect. The deadline to file federal taxes is also tomorrow, April 17th. Any holiday in D.C. is considered the same as a federal holiday as far as filing taxes, and today is a holiday there. This is from the IRS.gov website.

Federal and State tax returns are due tomorrow- NOT TODAY. Also, post offices are open today!
