Take in a murder mystery, help a band director and hit a few craft shows this weekend.

 

It's Thursday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend. Dedham Patch is coming to the rescue.

  1. Murder at the Main
    Where/When: Dedham Public Library, Main Branch; Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
    Why go: Enjoy an exciting murder myster show put on by the Dedham Library Innovation Team. All proceeds will benefit a strategic plan for the library. Refreshments will be served.
    Pricing: $20

  2. Don Heald Fundraiser
    Where/When:Moseley's on the Charles; Friday at 7 p.m.
    Why go: Help fray medical costs for Dedham Middle School band director Don Heald on Friday. The community is coming together for this 21-plus fundraiser.
    Pricing: $30 at the door

  3. Dedham Junior Woman's Club 30th Annual Craft Fair
    Where/When:
    Dedham Middle School; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    Why go: The Dedham Junior Woman's Club Craft Fair wiil feature over 75 crafters offering a variety of products to start your holiday shopping. All proceeds benefit local organizations and charities along with funding the Dedham Junior Woman's Club Annual School Scholarships.     Pricing: $3; children under 12 are free

  4. 25th Annual Norwood Turkey Trot
    Where/When:
    Norwood High School, 245 Nichols St., Norwood; Sunday, 11 a.m.
    Why go: Show off your running skills and burn a few calories before Thanksgiving turkey hits the table.
    Pricing: $25

  5. Westwood Holiday Fair
    Where/When:
     First Parish of Westwood, 340 Clapboardtree St., Westwood; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
    Why Go:
     The annual fair will feature beautifully-decorated fresh holiday wreaths, gift items, homemade baked goods and pies, a jewelry boutique, collectibles, hand knit children’s sweaters and hats, and – across the street in the church barn – Attic Treasures.
    Price:
    Free.
