Where/When: Friday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Whole Foods Dedham
Why go: Start off the weekend with samples beers from all over the world, including Belgium, Japan, England and Germany. The Whole Foods beer gurus will also be offering suggestions on good food pairings. (Must be 21 or over.)

Where/When: Friday 7 p.m. – midnight at Dedham Health and Athletic Complex
Why go: Celebrate the beginning of summer with dinner, drinks, live music, auctions and raffles. All proceeds go to Dana Farber Cancer Institute. But be careful – if you go to the Beer Fest first you might end up overbidding at the auction!

Where/When: Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Orvis
Why go: Give Dad a treat this Father’s Day weekend – Orvis is offering free fly fishing lessons, including casting. Kids are welcome to join but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Where/When: Saturday 1 p.m. at Riverdale Park (across from the Irish Alehouse)
Why go: Support the Neponset Valley Rotary Club at their annual fundraiser. If your lucky duck crosses the finish line first, you will win $1000!
Pricing: Adopt 1 duck for $5 or 5 for $20 (Rain or shine) - Dedham Youth Soccer End of Year Party at the New England Revolution
Where/When: Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. (ish) at Gillette Stadium
Why go: Celebrate the end of a rainy soccer season by going to see how the pros do it, possibly in the rain. This should be a fun party for Dedham soccer families!
