1. The Odd Couple
Where/When: Friday June 1, 7 p.m. at the Dunne Auditorium at Dedham High School.
Why go: The play will be performed by the Dedham High School Drama Guild, featuring a cast of eight DHS students. See the play that spawned the sitcom! $5 at the door.
2. Dedham High School Girls Softball Playoff Game
Where/When: Saturday June 2, 3 p.m. Dedham High School.
Why go: The Dedham girls posted a 15-5 record in 2012 and stand poised for a strong playoff run, starting today at Holliston.
3. Showing of Documentary: Miss Representation
Where/When: Sunday June 3, 9:45 a.m. at the Dedham Community Theatre.
Why go: The film, which debuted at Sundance Film Festival, delves into issues facing women today in achieving leadership positions. This is a free showing.
4. Graduations at Ursuline Academy, Noble and Greenough School
Where/When: Ursuline: Sunday June 3, 3 p.m./Nobles: Friday June 1, 10 a.m.
Why go: To congratulate the graduates! (Or don't go, but be aware of potential traffic as a result of the events.)
Where/When: Sunday June 3, noon. Billings Field, West Roxbury.
Why go: Just over the Boston border in West Roxbury, the 19th running of this race will be followed by a large community party at Billings Field (at the corner of Centre and LaGrange streets. And it's free!
