4 Things To Do This Weekend: Jan. 28 - 30

Do you have the NFL-less blues? Check out these events happening in Dedham this weekend.

With no meaningful NFL games on television and in dire need of a break from shoveling, here a few things to do around town this weekend that will keep you busy.

  1. Stop by St. Mary's on Sunday for a shocking and revealing lecture on the truth about human trafficking. The lecture is free and open to all, and could open your eyes to a devastating trend. The lecture begins at 2:30 p.m.
  2. Check out the annual Pinewood Derby, the must-see Cub Scout event of the year. The boys will race their cars on a brand new track. Head to St. Luke'sat 3 p.m. on Sunday for all the fun.
  3. Swing by to catch the Dedham boys hockey team in action Saturday evening at 6 p.m. at Nobles. The Marauders will take on Newton North.
  4. Get some locally grown fresh food from the Dedham Square Country Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
