Each day, Rose Gianopoulos (affectionately known as "Mrs. G.") makes the 32-mile drive from her home in North Attleboro to the town of Dedham.

For 25 years, Mrs. G. has worked for the Dedham Public School System - the past 13 years she has been the secretary at the Avery Elementary School.

For a couple of weeks each summer, Rose comes out from behind her  desk at school, to share her "passion" with the children from around town.

In addition to her baking and decorating blogs - Mrs G. is the owner and  creator of "Designer Cakes by Rose". The Avery Summer Institute offers four one-week long classes with Mrs. G. including: "Fun with Sugar" and the popular "Creative Cupcakes".

Sharing her knowledge and talent - the children are able to create their own masterpiece each day in class - and bring home a treat to eat with family members and friends.
