Bud was the brother of the late Elenor O'Brien of Norwood.
Bud was born May 11 1921, in Boston to Mary A. Podolske and John J Podolske .
Bud was a touted hockey player in the late thirties, a World War II veteran, US Army and a career firefighter for the town of Dedham and had a successful painting company. He was also an avid golfer and a member of the Norfolk Golf club for twelve years and the Friday Night Club. He also enjoyed reading Western novels and had a passion for gardening.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Tuesday, October 25, 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday, October 24, 4-8 p.m. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.

I didn't realize Uncle Bud had died, I am so sorry, he was so good to me. I just noticed looking up family tree. Kathie Ivans Gaar now living in Arizona.
