David Connolly, Co-Director and Choreographer at Dance Explosion in Dedham, won Best Director for the SpeakEasy Stage Company's production of "The Drowsy Chaperone" at the The Independent Reviewers of New England Awards held this past Monday evening. The musical also won best actress and best musical!!!

David has been directing and choreographing for SpeakEasy for many years now, as well as Xaverian Brothers High School's yearly productions. He has won many dance competition choreography awards at both the regional and national level.  His Dance Explosion students were the champions this past weekend at the International Dance Challenge competition held in Providence, RI.   He is also on the dance faculty of Boston University and The Boston Conservatory.
