An Opportunity to Meet Three Artists from Dedham Guild!
Come mingle with artists an peruse the work of three Dedham Square Artist Guild Members! Friday, December 7th from 6-8pm, the Guild will host an opening reception showcasing work from December Artists of the Month: Photographer Alice Donaldson and Jewelry Artists Monica Fairbairn and Barbara Trainer. Other Guild artists will also be in attendance. These receptions are a fantastic opportunity to view and learn about art in a fun, social setting. Refreshments will be served, and this event is free and open to the public. 553 High Street, Dedham, MA 781.329.1890.
Barbara Trainer's, jewelry designs are created from a love of unusual, quirky necklaces, earrings and bracelets she was drawn to for herself.
Monica Fairbairn creates vibrant, colorful designs to fashion unusual necklaces made of beads from Africa, the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
Says Alice Donaldson: "Photography is my passion. I love the way light plays on the landscape, and its diversity of textures, shapes and intricacies of the land."
The Dedham Square Artists Guild is a cooperative gallery, providing an environment for artists to show and sell their work and to enrich the cultural life of the community.
